SL2 / SLH2 – Slimline Surge Protector

Description

The Novaris SL2 and SLH2 range provides 20kA high energy surge protection for balanced pair signaling circuits, used in a wide range of industrial monitoring and control equipment. Applications include SCADA, PLC, fire and security systems, telecommunications and railway signaling. The SL2 is designed for protecting communication circuits with a 3dB of 60Mhz and the SLH2 is designed for instrumentation power circuits requiring up to 2.5A of current..

The SL2 and SLH2 range integrates a fault indicator and external alarm connection for surge protection monitoring. They are available with a -EC90 option to isolate the earth connection for protection of field equipment. The protection and alarm circuit is contained in a replaceable cartridge to minimise downtime.

RPU – GDT Surge Protectors

Description

Novaris GDT surge protectors provides a means to electrically protect railway signalling systems during transient disturbances by limiting the damaging potential differences normally seen during a surge. The GDT protector is designed as a direct replacement for Safetrans protectors, providing a more predictable transient response.
Once the disturbance has passed the earth clamp will automatically reset and electronic systems can return to normal operation, thereby minimising costly downtime.

TCP – Track Circuit Protector

Description

The Novaris TCP Track Circuit Protector is a high energy surge protection device. It is designed specifically for the protection of railway signaling track circuits. It may also be used for any signaling application requiring high energy primary protection with line current up to 2.5A.

The TCP range integrates a fault indicator and external alarm connection for surge protection monitoring. The protection and alarm circuit is contained in a replaceable cartridge to minimise downtime.
